Még egy/Another one

Kifelejtettem a folyamatban lévő munkáim közül ezt a bájos kis Tralala-mintát. Még januárban kezdtem el hímezni, de azután félre tettem. Múlt héten újra elővettem és amikor időm engedi, ezt bökögetem. A fotón lévő állapothoz képest már kicsit haladtam vele.
I missed from my works in progress this charming design of Tralala. I started to stitch in January, but then I put it aside. Last week I picked up again and stitch it when I have time. Status in the photo is not the actual, I proceeded to the stitching a little.

Ismét részt vettem a Blackbird Designs Exchange-ben. A 12. körben Catherine-től kaptam csodaszép ajándékokat. Már a cicás doboz is tetszik, amibe a többi szépséget csomagolta, de amikor kinyitottam a dobozt, elállt a szavam, hogy mennyi mindent küldött nekem. Nagyon köszönöm Catherine! :-)
I also took part in the 12th round of the Blackbird Designs Exchange. I received beautiful gifts from Catherine. I like the kitten box, into which she put the other goodies. But when I opened it, took my word that she sent me so many gifts. Catherine, thank you very much! :-)

Titkos hímzés/Secret stitching

Ahogy az előző bejegyzésben említettem, egy nagy és titkos hímzésen dolgoztam az elmúlt időszakban. Most már elárulhatom, hogy Bence tegnap elballagott az oviból, ez alkalomból készültek a Magyar Népmesék jól ismert motívumával a képek, melyeket az összes ballagó gyerek nevében kaptak az óvónők és a dada néni. A minta Laura blogján található. A hímzéshez Barbaral Rouge, Popeye és Plum fonalait használtam. Sikerült szépséges kereteket találni hozzájuk a keretezőnél. Különösen a kék tetszik, mert annak a színe tökéletesen passzol a fonalhoz.:-)
As I mentioned in my previous post, I worked a big and secret stitching recently. Now, I can tell you that Bence left the kindergarten yesterday, so these pictures were made on this occassion for the kindergarten teachers and the nanny. They got them from all children who start primary school in September. Pattern is the motif of the Hungarian Folk Tales and you can find it on Laura's blog. I used Barbaral Creations threads: Rouge, Popeye and Plum. I managed to find beautiful frames for them. I like the blue one especially, because the frame fits perfectly with the color of the thread.:-)

Hímzések folyamatban/Works in progress

Az elmúlt két hónapot egy többrészes és titkos "projekt" hímzésével töltöttem. Hogy mi volt az, azt nagyjából egy hét múlva tudom megmutatni. De örülök, hogy befejeztem és végre ismét olyat hímezhetek, amit szeretek. Íme a folyamatban lévő munkáim:
I spent the last two months stitching a multiple and secret project. I can show you about a week or so, what was it. But I'm glad to finished that and stitch what I like, finally. Here are my works in progress:

Ez itt Danybrod ingyen mintája több változatban. A legnagyobb hímzett szíveket gombokkal helyettesítettem. Az utolsóról még hiányzik a gomb. Tűpárnákat készítek majd belőlük.
These are some variations of Danybrod's free pattern. I put buttons on it instead of the biggest stitched hearts. Button is missing from the last one. Pincushion made of them.

I missed April and May ornies in the Christmas Ornament SAL, but I make up for them. The first pattern is a free pattern by Barbara Ana and the second one is by Niky's Creations.

Ezt a szép Heartsting Samplery-mintát már régóta ki szerettem volna hímezni, most végre sikerült. Ebből is tűpárna lesz.
I'd like to stitch this beautiful pattern of the Heartstring Samplery for a long time, I finally managed to do it. It will be also a pincushion.

Végül, de nem utolsó sorban, elkezdtem hímezni a kendőmet a Népi Pávás Mintakendő SAL-ban. A pávákat "természetesen" WDW Peacock fonallal hímzem, nagyon szeretem a színét. :-)
Last, but not least I started to stitch my version of the Hungarian Peacock Sampler SAL. I'm using "Peacock" by WDW for the peacocks, of course and I really like the colors of this thread. :-)

Csillának/To Csilla

Nemrég Csillának volt a születésnapja. Néhány ékszer és egy üveglencsés kulcstartó kíséretében ezt a hőmérőt készítettem neki. Szerintem nagyon cukik ezek a kis békák. :-) Ötlet és minta innen, a hornbook és a felhasznált fonalak Barbaraltól vannak.

Csilla had a birthday recently. I made this thermometer and sent her with some jewelry and a glass tile key ring. I think these small frogs are very cute! :-) Idea and free pattern from here, hornbook and threads I used from Barbaral.

Még élek/Still alive

Régen írtam a blogra. Ennek egyik oka, hogy kihasználva a jó időt, sokat vagyok a fiúkkal kinn az udvaron, vagy éppen sétálunk, játszótérre megyünk. Már Zsombi is élvezi a játszótér örömeit, kedvenc foglalatossága a kavics szórás. :-) És persze hintázni is szeret. Elkezdett beszélni is, rengeteg szót tud már, néhányat össze is kapcsol.
I wrote here a long time ago. One reason is that taking advantage of the good weather, I'm much out in the yard with my sons, or just take a walk, go to the playground, etc. Zsombi (my younger son) also been enjoying the pleasures of the playground, favorite activities of gravel spraying. :-) And he likes to swing of course. He began to speak, can have lots of words, some also connect with each other.

Bence pedig már igazi nagyfiú, ősszel kezdi az iskolát. Nagyon gyorsan telik az idő.

A másik ok, hogy nem nagyon írtam, az az, hogy nem igazán tudok hímzést mutatni. Nem azért, mert nem lenne mit, hanem azért, mert ezek egyelőre titkosak. Ajándékba készülnek és csak azután mutathatom őket, ha már megkapták az ajándékozottak. Azért hoztam egy kis apróságot. Kihímeztem az első mintámat, a Spring Birds-öt. Az összeállítás még várat magára.
The other reason I did not write, I can not really show you stitching. Not because I would not know, but because these are secret for now. Gifts are made, I can show them after I gave to their new owner. But I brought a little something. I stitched my first pattern, the Spring Birds pincushion. Assembly still to come.

Nagy örömömre itthon is egyre többen terveznek keresztszemes mintákat. Most én is megpróbálkoztam vele. Persze meg sem közelíti egyikükét sem, nem érzem magam túl tehetségesnek ebben, inkább csak szórakoztam kicsit. De ha úgy alakul, lesz még folytatása. Addig is fogadjátok szeretettel ezt a két kis tűpárna mintát. Nekem sajnos még nem volt időm kihímezni egyiket sem. Ha valakinek megtetszik és kihímezné, nagyon örülnék neki, ha küldene egy fotót róla a bal oldalsávban található e-mail címemre. Szép napot mindenkinek! :-)
I'm delighted more and more person design cross stitch patterns in Hungary. Now I have tried this. Not even close to either one of them, of course. I don't feel myself talented in this, just a bit of fun with it. But maybe it will not end. Until then it will give you this two little pincushion pattern. Unfortunately I don't have time to stitch them, so if anybody likes the patterns and will stitch one of them, I would really appreciate, if you e-mail me a photo of it.
